Ryan S. Nickel

Ryan S. Nickel is a Certified Family Financial Counselor and founder of the Family Financial Counseling Institute (FFCI). Ryan’s unique background in both family counseling and financial responsibility led him to create FFCI. Over his career, he has owned and operated businesses in mortgage planning, credit restoration, college funding, and credit and divorce planning, and worked for a nonprofit as a vocational counselor.

Ryan has been featured on television, radio and in print. Before moving to Sacramento, he had a weekly radio show where he answered listeners’ financial questions, and he was also the financial columnist for the local paper. He often says, “There isn’t much that I haven’t dealt with. The only things that seem to change are the names in the story,” which should be reassuring to anyone seeking his financial advice.
